Gone East is a new series of work by Jane Henzell, which expresses the lyrical qualities of paint. Jane Henzell (MFA, RMIT, Melbourne Australia) is an emerging artist who fascinated by the paint as a fluid medium and its capacity to generate images, both real and imaginary. The paintings, inspired by images of the East Cape New Zealand blur the boundaries between abstraction and figuration and mine new possibilities for expression.
Henzell's work is a celebration of colour and paint. We look forward to you joining us at the preview of this exhibition.
